About the Role:
We’re looking for a high-impact Partner Development Manager to join our Americas Partner Success team. This role sits at the intersection of sales execution, ecosystem growth, and GTM strategy. You’ll drive strategic partnerships with cloud providers, technology vendors, and system integrators to accelerate joint revenue and deepen Confluent’s market reach.
This is a hands-on role requiring strong leadership, business acumen, and relationship-building skills. You’ll manage end-to-end partner relationships, develop joint plans and GTM motions, and work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and product teams to hit ambitious growth goals—especially within the Digital Native segment.
If you're passionate about building ecosystems and driving category-defining growth, we’d love to hear from you.
What You Will Do:
+ Manage a fast-paced, revenue-driven partner business focused on pipeline generation, sourced partner bookings, and cross-functional execution across marketing, sales, professional services, and global business development.
+ Drive field engagement with a portfolio of system integrators, alongside select strategic ISV and cloud service provider partnerships aligned to our Digital Native customer segment.
+ Develop and execute long-term and annual plans that align our partner ecosystem with Confluent’s product and platform strategy.
+ Triangulate joint GTM opportunities across CSPs, ISV’s, and SIs to activate ecosystem plays in key regional markets.
+ Deliver against core metrics in partnership with Sales leadership, and ensure internal alignment across sales operations, strategy, and deal desk to support measurable outcomes.
+ Leverage data and deep analysis to inform a partner strategy that accelerates adoption of Confluent’s Data Streaming Platform.
What You Will Bring:
+ 10+ years of experience in enterprise infrastructure software, ideally within data infrastructure, streaming, or data management sectors. Direct sales experience is strongly preferred.
+ 5+ years of hands-on experience driving joint GTM initiatives with Global SIs, Regional SIs, and hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP).
+ Proven ability to build, influence, and sustain partner relationships at all levels, including senior and executive leadership.
+ Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with a talent for simplifying complex business proposals and driving alignment across executive stakeholders.
+ Strong cross-functional leadership, with a track record of aligning product, marketing, and field teams to execute high-impact partner initiatives.
+ Data-driven and strategic, with demonstrated success in applying analytical thinking to long-term planning that delivers measurable business outcomes.
+ Comfortable operating in fast-paced, high-growth environments; adaptable across multiple stages of company maturity and scale.
