Summary You will serve as an Executive Director in the Fleet Readiness Center Southeast of FLTREADCEN SOUTHEAST. The President has ordered a government-wide hiring freeze subject to certain limited exceptions. This position is subject to the hiring freeze. Responsibilities You will formulate goals, plans, and methods of evaluation to identify customer needs or resource requirements for various levels of business program operations. You will assess workforce in the areas of performance and professional development to guide and develop an efficient organization. You will approve long-range plans, goals, and objectives for an organization's mission. You will oversee development of long-range business operations plans. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing some or all of the following duties: 1) Overseeing the execution of actions to achieve strategic goals for a command; 2) Directing complex administrative, technical and professional services of a depot or large organization; 3) Managing operations and formulating goals, policies and objections for an organization; 4) Lead strategic planning activities to plan for future workloads; 5) Approving and reviewing multi-year and longer range work plans developed by subordinates; and 6) Managing and overseeing organizations that provide installation support services, operations and functions.
