**Job Type:** Hourly Consultant
**Hours:** 2nd shift Hours are 2:30pm-1am Sunday - Wednesday; 3rd Shift Hours are Sunday- Wednesday 10:30pm-9am
**Pay:** $20.50 - 20.80/hr depending on shift
We are seeking a **Print Shop Associate** to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for the efficient operation and maintenance of our digital and color printing equipment, including high-volume printers and copiers.
Key tasks include logging customer jobs, troubleshooting production issues, performing quality inspections, maintaining detailed logs for billing, and managing file backups. The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work overtime as needed.
Essential Functions:
+ Operate digital and color print equipment efficiently and accurately
+ Fulfill customer requirements as defined in contractual obligations
+ Manage defined and routine tasks and activities
+ Serve as the point of contact to receive, review, and electronically log customer jobs
+ Perform quality inspections before, during, and after each production run
+ Problem-solve production, output, and delivery issues
+ Operate high-volume printers and copiers
+ Perform routine operator-level maintenance on equipment
+ Maintain accurate reporting logs and billing information
+ Track and store jobs for customer reuse, including file backups
+ Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
+ Work overtime as needed
Skills:
+ Demonstrated computer proficiency, including use of PC keyboard, mouse, and common applications
+ Ability to send and receive emails, open/save documents, and perform data entry
+ Proficient in using Internet Explorer or similar for web browsing and document printing
+ Strong math skills (division, multiplication, percentages)
+ Professional demeanor and strong business maturity
Experience:
+ Previous experience in a high-volume print production environment preferred
+ Experience performing operator maintenance on digital print equipment
+ Experience managing customer job intake and logging is a plus
Education:
+ High School Diploma or equivalent required
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
