We are seeking a talentedSr. Director, Program Managementto join our team of nearly 500 employees. TheSr. Director, Program Managementserves as the primary program management leader overseeing ongoing operations and new program development inMonroe County, ensuring high-quality service delivery across this important business area. In this role, you will develop, nurture, and maintain productive and collaborative relationships with significant CCSI customers, ensure that programs are operating in alignment with established goals and objectives, and provide direct oversight, guidance and leadership to senior-level CCSI program leaders, and other CCSI staff working within customer locations, to ensure effective operations, staff performance, and compliance with CCSI and customer requirements. The Sr. Director serves as a local expert in program management and conduit to growth and expansion withinMonroe County.
In this role, you will:
Leadership and Development:
+ Coach and mentor Program Directors, fostering professional growth and development and alignment with organizational objectives.
+ Participate in strategic and operational planning and discussions as requested.
Stays Abreast of Local Systems:
+ Bring and continue to evolve a deep understanding the landscape of human service agencies in and around Monroe County.
+ Be Familiar with OMH, OASAS, and OCFS and other State agency regulations, funding structures, and program objectives / outcomes
Customer Relationship Management:
+ Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, focusing on statewide and regional and programmatic priorities.
+ Maintain a solid understanding of customers’ priorities and make connections, as appropriate, to other CCSI service areas to meet emerging needs.
+ Maintain a pulse on the political / regulatory climate and bring recommendations / insight to the Executive Leadership Team to assist in maintaining strategic positioning.
Financial Oversight:
+ Oversee service line budgets and ensure adherence to contractual agreements.
+ Partner with the CCSI’s Finance team to review operational budgets and monitor the overall financial performance for programs under their leadership.
+ Manage contractual relationships with customers, including contract renewal negotiations.
Operational Effectiveness
+ Implement consistent processes and practices across all program management contracts and ensure consistency and achieving important quality and efficiency goals.
+ Identify opportunities for process improvements and enhanced synergy.
+ Actively communicate, implement, and reinforce expectations related to CCSI core business policies, processes, and workflows with team members.
Service Line Growth
+ Works with customers to identify new program management opportunities and bring them to fruition.
Assume additional responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
What you Bring
+ Master’s Degree in health/public/business administration, or the equivalent in experience, along with a minimum of ten years of senior management experience (see CCSI's equivalency chart (https://www.ccsi.org/CCSI/media/pdfs/Equivalency-chart.pdf) )
+ Experienced in managing all aspects of program oversight including planning, implementation, fiscal management, operations, and process/system optimization.
+ Experience in networking and collaborating with governmental agencies and community-based organizations .
+ Skills in engaging, motivating and working with diverse individuals and groups to accomplish shared objectives.
+ Self-directed, efficient and effective in problem solving, prioritizing, and managing multiple demands and objectives.
+ Strong coordination, negotiation and facilitation skills.
+ Outstanding organizational skills.
+ Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
+ Proficient in MS Office products; Ability to learn other required program management and reporting applications.
+ Commitment to culturally competent practice.
Additional Requirements
+ Satisfactory completion of all required background screenings.
+ Drives and promotes strategic approach/vision for the division.
+ Contributes strategically across all areas of Program Management to improve effectiveness and impact.
+ Provides regular on-site supervision, coaching and support to Monroe County Leaders, Customers, and Partners.
+ Fosters strong customer relationships at the most senior levels of the organization.
+ Pursues opportunities to evolve existing programming or opportunities to expand programming in areas aligned with the organization’s capacity, vision and values.
