Job Summary

Under minimal supervision, the Maintenance Technician is responsible for executing maintenance throughout GSGLA facilities to include diagnosing problems and making repairs in order to maintain the high-quality physical condition of its properties, according to the operating and safety standards of GSGLA. The Maintenance Technician must ensure that service requests and repairs are completed in a timely manner.

Job Qualifications

- Performs a variety of work in the maintenance and repair of buildings and grounds at various assigned facilities/sites to include: Diagnose and repair problems in such areas as HVAC, plumbing, major appliances, carpentry, emergency systems, flooring, hardware accessories, masonry, painting/wallpaper, water features (pounds, pools, etc.) and waste management systems.

- Complete assigned service requests and repairs consistent with company operating and equipment/supply standards and in a timely manner. Adhere to maintenance schedules, maintenance budget, as well as maintaining an inventory of supplies and tools sufficient for providing the appropriate level of service.

- Supervise vendors and service providers and escalate issues as appropriate. Willing and able to be “on call” for emergencies.
