    School Counselor (High School) Fully Licensed

     

    About the Role

    Are you passionate about supporting student mental health and helping young people thrive? We’re seeking a dedicated School Counselor to join our high school team for the 2025–2026 academic year. This is a full-time, in-person position working with approximately 300 high school students.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Provide individual and group counseling to students

    + Support students’ emotional, social, and academic development

    + Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to promote student success

    + Maintain accurate and confidential documentation

    + Respond to mental health needs and crises as appropriate

    Position Details

    + Job Type: Full-Time

    + Schedule: Monday to Friday

    + Location: On-site (in-person only)

    + Grade Level: High School

    + Start Date: August 4, 2025

    + Contract Length: Full academic year

    Qualifications

    + Valid MI School Counselor license (required)

    + Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Nursing, or a related Human Development field

    + CPR certification (if applicable)

    + TB test or chest x-ray (if applicable)

    + Current health certificate (if required)

    + Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements

    + Must be at least 18 years of age
