The Tioga County Partnership for Community Health (Partnership) is a countywide network of individuals, community leaders, health care providers, human service personnel, business representatives, and government leaders whose mission is to foster strong community relationships to address the physical, social, mental, and environmental health needs of Tioga County, Pennsylvania.
Partnership is hiring a full time Program Coordinator to coordinate and manage the efficient operations of the projects/programs within the department. The hours of the role are Monday through Friday, 10AM - 6:30PM with occasional Saturdays.
This position is for a highly organized and relationship driven individual looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children in their community. The position will support program operations in summer and after-school programming initiatives. They will be responsible for running day to day programming, trouble-shooting interventions for student behavior, covering staffing for part time and contract positions as needed.
Responsibilities:
+ Assist in planning programming activities and curriculum development
+ Run programming activities for groups of elementary aged-students for summer and after-school initiatives
+ Run programming site in summer with assistance from part time summer staff
+ Trouble-shoot student behavior and support appropriate interventions
+ Monitor operations across three after-school sites and report back regularly to program coordinator
+ Gather program related data and compile to report to supervisor
+ Network for programs and volunteers to support summer and after-school programming efforts
+ Facilitate opportunities for parent engagement of program participants
+ Support improved student academic and behavioral outcomes through newly added peace manager referral system and voluntarily requested academic engagement effort across assigned after-school sites
+ Provides senior level input towards program, facilities, fiscal, staff/HR, and policy planning.
+ Oversee administrative, clinical, and/or research functions for the program.
+ Initiate/create/oversee quality control initiatives and training for program.
+ Develop and oversee cooperative relationships with other internal and external communities.
+ Complete progress reports.
+ High School Diploma and five years of relevant experience. (clinical, research, administrative)
+ Associates or Bachelor's degree if no prior experience
