Description

Draken is searching for an experienced Engines / Aerospace Propulsion Specialist to maintain F-16 A/B model aircraft and the PW-220 engines at the Romanian Air Force (RoAF) F-16 Training Center at the 86thAir Base, near Borcea, Romania. These aircraft will be used to train RoAF pilots.

JOB OVERVIEW

Responsibilities:

+ Interpret and apply directives and technical publications related to aircraft maintenance operations.

+ Perform troubleshooting, scheduled maintenance, and repair activities on fuel, electrical, oil, and engine airflow systems in accordance with technical publications.

+ Execute detailed diagnostics to assess system components' functionality and determine serviceability using engineering drawings and specifications.

+ Use precision tools such as micrometers, calipers, tape measures, and standard scales for component measurement and assessment.

+ Carry out other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

+ Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in maintenance and repair of F-16 aircraft engines, specifically the Pratt & Whitney PW-220.

+ Demonstrated experience at the Organizational (O) or Intermediate (I) level maintenance on F-16 platforms.

+ Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals and data written in English.

+ Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills across multiple aircraft systems.

+ Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
