The Executive Producer works as part of the news management team supervising news content across all media platforms.
Duties and Responsibilities
+ Define strategic direction for content coverage to meet business and financial objectives
+ Manage newsroom, contribute to the editorial process and help lead in breaking news situations
+ Execute strategies that engage and grow audiences across all media devices
Requirements:
+ Bachelor's Degree in Communications, TV/Film or the equivalent work experience
+ At least 5 years’ experience in television news as a producer or executive producer
+ Must be able to interact well with anchors, reporters, videographers, news managers, production and engineering staff
+ Detail oriented
+ Excellent verbal, written and analytical skills
+ Strong news judgment, journalistic integrity and understanding of viewer needs and expectations
+ Utilize state-of-art television technology
Salary ranges from $110,000-$120,000 based off experience.
