Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced JDE Business Analyst to analyzes business processes within an organization, specifically focusing on the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (JDE E1) ERP system, to identify areas for improvement, translate business needs into system requirements, and ensure efficient implementation and support of JDE modules across different departments, often collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, document processes, and manage system changes within the JDE platform.
Duties and Responsibilities
Business Requirement Gathering
• Conduct interviews with stakeholders to understand business needs.
• Translate user input into functional requirements for the JDE system.
Process Analysis
• Evaluate existing business processes within JDE.
• Identify opportunities for optimization and improved workflow efficiency.
System Design
• Work closely with technical teams to design and implement JDE solutions.
• Support configuration, customization, and integration efforts.
Documentation
• Develop detailed functional specifications and system documentation.
• Create user guides for JDE modules and updates.
Testing and Quality Assurance
• Prepare and execute test plans for new implementations and system changes.
• Ensure system functionality meets business and technical requirements.
User Training
• Deliver training sessions to end-users on JDE functionalities and enhancements.
• Provide ongoing support and reference materials.
Change Management
• Support communication and stakeholder engagement during system changes.
• Manage the implementation of updates in a structured manner.
Production Support
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues within the JDE environment.
• Provide daily operational support to system users.
Required Qualifications
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a JDE Business Analyst or similar role.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in JD Edwards E1 running on Windows and Linux, including configuration, customization, and integration. Experience with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, MicroStrategy, ReportsNow) is preferred.
• Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects effectively, adhering to timelines and budgets.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex business requirements and develop effective solutions.
• Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in analysis and implementation.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders. Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
• Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing business needs and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Proactive and results-oriented mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Experience in the food manufacturing or distribution industry.
• Experience with WMS, EDI, AP Automation (Forza Scanman) or RF scanning solutions
