    Responsibilities/Experience

    + Demonstrate leadership in providing a positive and productive environment for students and staff; place high priority on needs and welfare of students in the context of preparing them for success.

    + Supervise students.

    + Work collegially and collaboratively with the Summer School Principal.

    + Assist with District and Building Safety Drills

    + Other duties as may be assigned by the Summer School Principal.

     

    SUPERVISES: Assists the principal with supervision of the student and their programming, as assigned to the Cleveland Hill Summer School Program

     

    REPORTS TO : Cleveland Hill High School Summer School Principal

     

    Additional Job Information

    UNPAID ADMINISTRATIVE INTERNSHIP

    + Currently enrolled in an approved graduate-level New York State administrative certification program, with emphasis on educational leadership. This experience counts towards the School Building Leader hours requirement.

    + Minimum of 5 years teaching experience, including leadership roles.

    + Formal letter of endorsement from the internship program or field experience coordinator.

    Special consideration given to candidates with additional Certification(s):

    + Evidence of successful informal and formal leadership as a teacher
