    We have an outstanding Contract position for aCommunication and Engagement Coordinator to join a leading Company located in theGainesville, TXsurrounding area.

     

    Supports development and delivery of internal and external communications and employee engagement initiatives across locations in Gainesville, TX, and Chihuahua, Mexico. This role assists with content creation, communication logistics, event coordination, and execution of engagement programs aligned with company values and strategic goals . This role reports directly to the Communication and Engagement Specialist and Vice President of Human Resources , and works closely with Human Resources Business Partners and each of the respective Business Units.

    Job Responsibilities:

    + Assist in preparing internal communication materials such as newsletters, announcements, and presentations.

    + Coordinate logistics and provide support for employee engagement events and recognition programs.

    + Help maintain internal communication channels (e.g., intranet, video monitors, text alerts).

    + Support team efforts on campaigns, including gathering information, proofreading content, and coordinating distribution.

    + Assist with employee surveys and reporting results to stakeholders.

    + Collaborate with HR and Communications teams to ensure consistent branding and messaging.

    + Track engagement activities and compile data for reporting and improvement.

    + Maintain communication calendars and timelines for various projects.

    + Support coordination of company events, town halls, and employee engagement activities.

    + Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring all communications adhere to brand guidelines.

    + Support and participate in regional and company-wide communication projects and events as required

    + Perform other duties as assigned.

    Basic Hiring Criteria:

    + Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, in Communication, Journalism, Marketing, or related field preferred.

    + Six (6) years related experience with no degree or minimum 20-2 years of experience with a degree in a communication, journalism, marketing, or related field, in an administrative support role.

    + Strong written and verbal communication skills.

    + Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

    + Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Suite preferred).

    + Familiarity with social media platforms and digital tools preferred .

    + Experience with video production, including scripting, filming and editing content.

    + Team-oriented, proactive, and able to work with minimal supervision.

    + Excellent verbal, written communications and negotiating skills.

    + Ability to work autonomously, efficiently communicating with and reporting to the stakeholders.

    + Excellent time management skills and have a sense of urgency; proven ability to work on multiple projects and programs at any given time.

    + Enjoy working with international stakeholders and different cultures.

    + Strong attention to detail, pushing the envelope and a can-do attitude.

    + Reacting quickly, efficiently and adapting to any working environment with fast-paced project requirements.

    + Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
