**Harborview Medical Center - Facilities & Capital Development** has an outstanding opportunity for a **Bond Program Design Manager** .
WORK SCHEDULE
+ 100% FTE
+ Monday – Friday; Days
+ 3 days/week or more required onsite/in-person **DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION** **Harborview Facilities & Capital Development Division** is comprised of several support services throughout the medical center, including Capital Development, Clinical Engineering, Facilities Engineering, Operator Services, and more. All of which serve UW Medicine's mission to improve the health of the public by attending to maintenance, alterations and repairs to the buildings and systems needed to maintain patient care and a healing environment at Harborview.
POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
+ Manage Harborview’s clinical and operational programmatic needs with the Bond Program Progressive Design-Build team
+ Lead construction and occupancy of the Harborview Bond Program scope of work
+ Support the region's only Level 1 Trauma Center and safety net hospital that serves King County's most complex patient population **PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Coordinate with clinical staff and medical faculty at all levels to develop functional and space program requirements to be used as the basis of design for the Harborview Bond Program work and in-house construction projects
+ Partner with Bond Program King County staff to coordinate the work of consultant architects and engineers in translating the user requirements into architectural and engineering design and construction documents that are aligned with the Bond Program budget
+ Review architectural and engineering drawings at various stages of design (schematic design, design development and construction documents) to ensure that functional and technical programmatic requirements and standards are met
+ Collaborate with in-house engineering and maintenance representatives to ensure that operations are not adversely impacted **REQUIREMENTS**
+ 10+ years industry experience in healthcare architecture/project management or equivalent combination of education and experience **ABOUT HARBORVIEW MEDICAL CENTER**
