Crop Protection & Seed Growth Service Advisor

Position Overview:

As a Crop Protection & Seed Growth Service Advisor Responsible for the Product Supply relationship, you play a crucial role in managing and enhancing relationships with Retail, Seedsman, and Grower customers for assigned accounts. You are responsible for analyzing account history and building annual operational plans to create mutually beneficial approaches that support the achievement of account and Bayer business targets. Your influence on account behavior supports Sales and Operational business plans, including encouraging adoption of new processes, tools, and systems. You implement continuous improvements in operational efficiency and customer experience, providing value-added services that enhance customer loyalty. Utilizing your agronomic knowledge, you support product upsell or substitutions, ensuring Operational Excellence within Product Supply processes. You advise accounts on product updates, marketing, and operational programs, while understanding the Region’s supply needs. Your collaboration with cross-functional teams optimizes orders and product deliveries to meet marketing timing needs and Bayer business targets. You seek customer feedback to identify solutions and manage research, resolution, documentation, and communication for complaints and errors. Your innovative approaches drive efficiency, reduce resolution rates, and elevate the customer experience.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ Strengthen relationships with Retail, Seedsman, and Grower customers through proactive engagement;

+ Analyze account history and build annual operational plans to support account and Bayer business targets;

+ Influence account behavior to support Sales and Operational business plans, adopting new processes, tools, and systems;

+ Implement continuous improvements in operational efficiency and customer experience;

+ Provide value-added services to enhance customer experience and induce loyalty;

+ Utilize agronomic knowledge to support product upsell or substitutions;

+ Ensure Operational Excellence within Product Supply processes to enhance customer business;

+ Advise and support accounts on product updates, marketing, and operational programs;

+ Provide information on order, supply availability, timing, deliveries, and updates;

+ Collaborate cross-functionally to optimize orders and product deliveries;

+ Track customer satisfaction and identify solutions for gaps;

+ Manage research, resolution, documentation, and communication for complaints and errors;

+ Deliver cross-functional solutions for Operational Excellence and consistent brand experience;

+ Drive innovative approaches to gain efficiency and elevate customer experience.

WHO YOU ARE:

Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:

+ BS/BA preferably in Agriculture, Agronomy, Business, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline;

+ Self-motivated, results-oriented with a process improvements mindset, able to work independently;

+ Effective teamwork skills to achieve common goals;

+ Excellent customer service and influencing skills with strong written and verbal communication abilities;

+ High agility in a fast-paced environment with the ability to work effectively in a matrix environment;

+ Problem-solving and decision-making abilities based on data and analytical prowess;

+ Key competencies include customer focus, collaboration, negotiation, relationship, and conflict management.

Preferred Qualifications:

+ 5+ years of professional experience preferably in Customer Service, Commercial, Logistics, Operational, or Agricultural fields;

Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $71,900.80 - $107,851.20. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc.. This salary range ismerely an estimate and may vary based on an applicant’s location, market data/ranges, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
