A Typical Day
The Pricing & Strategy Analyst is responsible for setup and validation of pricing configuration, documenting new or enhanced business requirements, development and testing of new mortgage products, and building analytical tools to validate the accuracy of mortgage pricing. As the Pricing & Strategy Analyst , you will coordinate analysis with multiple departments (e.g. Technology, Sales, Capital Markets), cross-channel analytics, and key corporate initiatives.
The Analyst, Pricing & Strategy , will:
+ Assist in managing/maintaining the rules engine platform to support pricing strategies for all production channels
+ Implement mortgage pricing changes including loan-level price adjustments, mortgage insurance adjustments, mortgage insurance best execution, and fees
+ Assist with deployment of new mortgage products, including comprehension and documentation of guideline and pricing requirements, as well as testing and building tools to validate the accuracy of all calculations and configurations
+ Assist in UAT and production validation of technology updates memorialized in Jira tickets/requests generated by production pricing to support product development
+ Perform other related duties as required and assigned
+ Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization’s desired culture and values
What You’ll Bring
+ Bachelor’s degree with a major in Actuarial Science, Statistics, Decision Science, Mathematics or Quantitative Analysis
+ 1-3 years of experience with SQL and Excel. Must be able to data mine using SQL or Snowflake
+ 1-3 years of experience in the residential mortgage finance, preferably with such experience in Secondary Marketing or Correspondent Lending
+ Working knowledge of API integration, Java, Python, and R

Compensation: Individual salary may vary based on multiple factors including specific role, geographic location / market data, and skills and experience as defined below:
+ Lower in range - Building skills and experience in the role
+ Mid-range - Experience and skills align with proficiency in the role
+ Higher in range - Experience and skills add value above typical requirements of the role
Some roles may be eligible for performance-based compensation and/or stock-based incentives awarded to employees based on company and individual performance.
