Work Hours/Shift:

+ Part Time Evenings - 3:00pm - 3:30am

You Will Be Responsible For:

+ ·Assume responsibility for meeting regulatory requirements and organizational and departmental policies.·Identify my own knowledge deficits and assume responsibility for personal conduct and professional development.·Recognize the importance of professional contributions through national specialty certification, formal education advancement and professional organization membership.·Facilitate education and growth of new associates and student nurses.

Qualifications

What You Will Need:

+ 2-year Associate Degree

+ Current CPR

+ ACLS

+ Current Kansas State Nursing License

+ Additional certifications/registrations may be required or preferred by specific clinical area of practice.

+ The Charge RN must demonstrate certification/registration upon hire or agree to obtain requirements within 1 year of hire unless deemed otherwise by the Manager/Director

Job Summary:

"The Charge Registered Nurse (RN) is an experienced RN, who in addition to providing direct patient care is accountable for facilitating a multidisciplinary approach to patient care, patient flow, staffing, resource utilization and problem solving for a specific patient care department. . The Charge RN collaborates with patients/customers, families, physicians, administration and associates to meet customer needs, provide safe patient care, evaluate the interventions provided and forecast resource needs to meet patient care needs on an ongoing basis
