    Description

    Responsibilities:

    * Direct and coordinate all service activities to meet customer schedules and goals\.

    * Manage daily, weekly, and monthly performance against established financial goals and metrics\.

    * Check and report on the status of service and act to eliminate delays and parts shortages\.

    * Manage workforce headcount, schedules \(time off request, attendance\), payroll, and employee relations \(discipline\)\.

    * Manage accurate inventory levels and part tracking\.

    * Develop and implement continuous improvement opportunities and employee training needs\.

    * Drive root cause corrective action problem solving initiatives to achieve improved safety, quality, delivery and cost\.

    * Ensure adequate supply of tools, equipment, and materials for efficient location operations\.

    * Assist with recommendations regarding workplace layouts, service methods and efficiencies by auditing operations to

     

    improve service flow and reduce costs

    Qualifications

    * Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree and 2 or more years of experience required, OR in lieu of degree a HS

     

    Diploma/GED required and 8 or more years of automotive/maintenance experience required

     

    * Software Knowledge: Microsoft Office Applications \(PowerPoint, Excel, Word\)

    * Must possess a valid driver's license and comply with TSV pool, fleet, and DOT policies

    * Must be able to obtain and maintain an airport\-issued ID badge

    * Demonstrated knowledge of Diesel Engines, Electrical systems, Hydraulics, and Generators
