Job Summary:
Provide administrative support to the School of Music, Theatre, and Dance. Duties include administrative support for associate deans and departmental chairs, managing operational needs for faculty and staff and supporting summer programing. Supervise student office staff in Whalen and Dillingham for reception of guests and general office management.
Job Responsibilities:
+ Provide comprehensive administrative support to the deans and chairs, including:
+ Course scheduling
+ Collecting and archiving syllabi
+ Liaising for student statements
+ Preparing for department meetings
+ Creating and collecting survey data
+ Supporting Audition Process
+ Serve as the primary point of contact for visitors, faculty, and staff, directing them to appropriate resources as needed
+ Hire, train, and supervise student office reception and tour staff
+ Conduct tours and information sessions as necessary
+ Manage faculty and staff mail, break rooms, and office supplies
+ Coordinate the needs of faculty and staff offices, including supplies and phones
+ Check in and out resources as needed
+ Support student tours and field trips
+ Support summer programming
+ Assist with 25Live input as needed
+ Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
+ High School Diploma and 3-years administrative experience.
+ Excellent organizational, leadership, supervisory, and project management skills.
+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
+ Ability to work and interact respectfully within a diverse and inclusive environment.
+ Solid working knowledge of various word processing, spreadsheet, and database software applications.
+ Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
This position is 37.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.

Hiring Range:
$18.45 to $21.50 per hour, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
