    Facilities Maintenance Field Technician

    **Work Schedule:** Monday to Friday, Day Shift (40 hours/week)

    **Location:** Pittsburgh, PA

    **Pay Rate:** $35.27/hour

    Job Summary:

    We are seeking an experienced **Mobile Engineer** to join our facilities operations team, responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial HVAC systems across multiple client locations in the Pittsburgh area. This union-based position (Local 95) plays a key role in ensuring optimal operation of building systems in a dynamic, multi-site environment. Candidates must demonstrate expertise in one technical discipline (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, or Central Utility Plant Operations) and show working knowledge in others.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Perform routine and corrective maintenance for HVAC and associated mechanical systems, including rooftop units, chillers, boilers, and related controls.

    + Conduct preventive maintenance and diagnostic inspections to maintain peak equipment performance.

    + Respond to service calls across multiple client sites (PNC branches and others) with efficiency and professionalism.

    + Record equipment readings, perform system adjustments, and complete detailed maintenance documentation.

    + Support life safety systems, control systems, and basic structural or facility-related repairs.

    + Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and internal safety procedures.

    + Maintain clean, organized workspaces and properly store tools, materials, and hazardous substances.

    + Coordinate with outside contractors for specialized service needs; monitor quality and cost of outsourced work.

    + Travel between locations using a company-provided van.

    Qualifications:

    + High school diploma or equivalent required.

    + 5–7 years of experience in HVAC service and commercial building maintenance.

    + EPA 608 Type II Certification required; Universal Certification preferred.

    + Strong ability to diagnose and resolve issues related to mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems.

    + Proficiency with basic computer applications including Microsoft Word and Excel.

    + Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Completion of a trade school or technical program in HVAC, electrical, or refrigeration.

    + Experience working in a unionized environment is a plus.

    **Pay Details:** $35.27 per hour
