The Opportunity
Family and Children’s Association (FCA) is seeking a Clinician to join the Families Healing Together Program, which provides short-term, trauma-informed therapy to youth ages 7–18 and their families in Suffolk County.
Responsibilities
+ Utilize screening and assessment tools to identify at-risk youth and deliver trauma-informed individual, family, and group counseling services.
+ Conduct comprehensive intakes and assessments; collaborate with the psychiatrist and clinical team to develop appropriate treatment recommendations.
+ Create, implement, and regularly monitor individualized treatment plans to support client progress and well-being.
+ Maintain required caseload and productivity standards while ensuring high-quality care delivery.
+ Coordinate with external referral sources and service providers to ensure continuity and integration of care.
+ Complete timely and accurate documentation in accordance with agency policies and regulatory guidelines.
+ Provide community education on Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and support program operations as needed.
Qualifications
+ Master’s degree and current licensure required (LCSW, LMSW, LMFT, or LMHC).
+ 2–5 years of experience providing clinical counseling services.
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related computer applications.
