    Description

    **SAIC** is seeking a **Logistics Associate** to provide support at the **SAIC Middletown, RI Office for the Naval Undersea Warfare Center** for multiple programs.

    Job Duties:

    + Provide material procurement support including development of procurement documentation; completion, scanning, archiving, and management of procurement records and transportation/transfer requests.

    + interface with vendors to obtain quotes, processing Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders, updating Excel spreadsheets with relevant information, kitting and tracking inventory, interfacing with customers to develop procurement requirements and to provide status updates.

    + Develop MS Excel procurement tracking documentation; develop project management support documents including program plans, office communications and memoranda, and organize documents.

    + Other duties may include developing technical reports, preparing assorted presentations, and assisting with the management and tracking of other project data, as required.

    Qualifications

    Qualifications:

    + High School Diploma and two (2) years or more related experience.

    + Ability to obtain SECRET clearance.

    + MS Office proficiency including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

    + Detail oriented and organized.

    + Quick learner and proactive.

    + Ability to manage logistical issues.

    Desired:

    + DoD Experience.

    + Procurement Experience.

    + Ability to work with databases.

     

    Target salary range: $40,001 - $80,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
