    Job Description

    Starting wage $24.46

     

    Midnight shift 11p-7a

    Benefits include - Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, 401K

    + Continuously monitor dryer, finisher evaporator, and WPC performance and make necessary changes to operating parameters.

    + Notify control room lead person/management of any irregularities in the performance of equipment.

    + Monitor and verify that proper changes and connections have been made for production and CIP modes of operation.

    + Perform computer tasks as needed.

    + Insure correct reporting of ingredients to the inventory management system.

    + Maintain all production records in an orderly fashion.

    + Perform hourly quality checks.

    + Assist in other production areas as required.

    + Assist in loading outgoing and unloading incoming trucks of whey concentrate as required.

    + Perform cleaning and sanitation tasks as required to maintain plant equipment and quality standards.

    + Perform minor maintenance on equipment as required.

    + Minimize water usage and the generation of wastewater within the scope of the position.

    + Follow all DFA GMP’s and work in a manner consistent with all corporate and regulatory quality and sanitation requirements.

    + Must adhere to all safety policies and procedures.

    _Education and Experience_

    + High School Diploma or GED required

    + Two years of experience in a production area of the plant or equivalent is highly preferred

    _Knowledge, Skills and Abilities_

    + Ability to use commercial English, grammar and arithmetic such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division including decimals and fractions

    + Mechanical Abilities highly preferred

    + Knowledge of and ability to use various computer applications

    Must be able to read, write and speak English
