EMS, Thin Metal Parts is seeking a dynamic and motivated Product Specialist to join our innovative team. As a Product Specialist, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between our product development team and our customers. You will be responsible for understanding customer needs, providing insightful feedback to guide product enhancements, and delivering exceptional support.

Summary: Assist sales team by providing quotes based on customer specifications, ensure work orders are pushed through manufacturing operations as needed, and oversee sample program.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

+ Assist Sales Account Managers as necessary with a variety of sales related tasks as needed.

+ Provide quotes for sales based on customer needs.

+ Routinely research and contact prospective customers for business.

+ Provide knowledge of technical capabilities to sales team.

+ Research work orders in system to determine issues and assist in resolving if possible.

+ Answer customer inquiries and help resolve technical concerns.

+ Collaborate with sales team and manufacturing teams.

+ Participate in sales meetings.

+ Interface with all levels of TMP employees to ensure product success.

+ Oversee sample program to include stock of sample pieces, components of sample box and ensure sample boxes are shipped to customers per sales account manager’s request.

+ Verify accuracy data on all work orders prior to release to production.

+ Ability to learn and follow specific work instructions when handling classified information.

+ Establish and build relationships with 3rd party suppliers for work that is outsourced.

+ Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

+ Associate’s degree or equivalent.

+ Ability to view/handle ITAR and other export-controlled information.

+ Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills

Other Considerations:

+ Mechanical and analytical skills.

+ Ability to learn and utilize TMP database system.

+ Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite.

+ Demonstrable PC skills – strong Excel capability.

+ Strong math skills.

+ Able to read blueprints/drawings.

+ Highly organized with great attention to detail.

+ Ability to handle multiple projects at a time.

+ Ability to work as part of a team or independently.

+ Fluent English written and verbal skills.
