Position Summary...
The Senior Manager, Content & Copy Excellence Editor will lead a cross-functional editorial and compliance program that ensures all Spark Driver Content- internal and external – meets our legal, editorial, and brand standards.
You’ll act as the guardian of our voice and the steward of compliance, overseeing a hybrid team of editors, copywriters, and reviewers. Moreover, you’ll bring hybrid thinking to our editorial process by working with data teams to develop intelligent content models that ingest, categorize, and analyze the entire spark Driver Content Ecosystem – enabling suggestive optimizations, flagging duplicative or non-value-added content for deprecation, and accelerating global copy updates by locating all instances of targeted verbiage across channels.
What you'll do...
What You’ll Do:
+ Establish Editorial Excellence and Governance
+ Own and evolve the Spark Driver Style Guide and content submission standards across all ODD (Operations, Design & Documentation) Teams.
+ Lead live editing and content reviews, ensuring grammar, formatting, and legal alignment meet publishing standards.
+ Define and maintain quality scorecards that track submission error rates and content accuracy.
+ Drive Legal Review Process Ownership
+ Manager all content submitted to legal for approval – driver facing help articles, IVRs, agent KBs, and video scripts.
+ Partner closely with legal to align on approval threshold, build efficient feedback loops, and reduce time-to publish
+ Scale AI-Assisted Editorial Workflows:
+ Incorporate AI-Driven tools to support grammar checks, consistency audits, and risk detection in copy review workflows prior to legal review.
+ Build repeatable systems that reduce content rework, increasing compliance pass rates, and speed up time-to-legal review
+ Support Strategic Content Initiatives
+ Collaborate across verticals – Walmart LMD, B2B, GoLocal, Learning & Development – to ensure consistent, legally compliant messaging across all Spark Driver surfaces.
+ Help contextualize support and education content with Brand-Aligned flows that reduce contact propensity (CPO) and drive feature adoption
What You’ll Bring:
• 6+ years of experience in, editorial, content operations, or copy leadership roles-ideally with exposure to legal review process or regulated content environments.
• A background in compliance-sensitive content, technical writing, or paralegal/editorial roles where precision and defensibility matter.
• Strong Stakeholder management skills, with experience coaching content contributors at scale and with complex and very senior stakeholder groups
• Expertise in content governance frameworks, editorial QA, and style guide ownership.
• An eye for both detail and systems – balance wordsmithing excellence with scalable content operations.
• Experience using or evaluating AI content – review and editorial support tools.
