    Position Summary...

     

    This role is focused on executing the E2E strategy for Partnerships within Driver Experience particularly with the purpose of adding value to the new Spark Driver Rewards Program. The manager must be someone who has in-depth industry knowledge and connections that enable them to source new 3rd party partnerships. Also, the manager will be in charge of revamping our entire approach to partnerships and finding new opportunities to bring value even given constraints that exist with gig economy drivers. The manager must be someone who can manage these accounts but at the same time get into the details of tracking performance and reporting.

     

    The importance of partnerships is increasing due to the focus of bringing value to the new rewards program. We are planning to launch the new rewards program later this year and we need to close the gap against competition in our offerings while keeping in mind the legal risk limitations.

     

    What you'll do...

     

    The Manager, Last Mile Delivery Partnerships will lead the end-to-end strategy, execution, and management of partnerships that enhance the value proposition for gig economy drivers on the Spark platform. This role is responsible for redefining and scaling a long-term partnership vision aligned with the Spark Driver Rewards Program, leveraging industry insights, innovative collaboration opportunities, and creative solutions within program constraints. The Manager will own relationships with both internal (e.g., Walmart+, Sam’s Club) and external partners, ensuring alignment with Spark's goals while continuously identifying ways to deliver additional value to drivers.

     

    The role will drive the full lifecycle of new partnership initiatives—from sourcing and negotiation to launch and post-launch optimization—ensuring seamless integration across Spark’s channels and touch points.

     

    Own the Spark Partnerships strategy to enhance the the value proposition for gig economy drivers on the platform, leveraging insights into industry trends and innovative partner opportunities. The new strategy should create a vision for partnerships in the context of the Spark Driver Rewards Program considering implications within the new program, seamless integration into our channels, and finding creative solutions that bring value within existing limitations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Manage and strengthen relationships with existing Last Mile Delivery (LMD) partners (internal and external), ensuring ongoing alignment with Spark’s Rewards Program and finding ways to increasingly add value to the drivers on the platform through effective relationship management. The key internal partnerships include Walmart+ and Sam's club.

    + Execute new partnerships that bring value to drivers on the Spark platform ensuring a seamless E2E partnership management process from discovery conversations, contract negotiations and execution, go-to-market, and post-launch management.

    + Manage the on-going Spark Partnerships performance tracking and reporting by clearly communicating impact to KPIs and share on-going improvement opportunities.

    + Partner and/or account management experience - Ability to build, maintain, and grow strong relationships with external and internal partners.

    + Strategy and Industry Knowledge - Capable of developing partnership strategies within the gig economy /last mile delivery space that align with business goals and enhance the value of the rewards and engagement programs.

    + Contract negotiations - Skilled in structuring and negotiating deals, managing contract terms, and ensuring mutual value from partnerships.

    + Analytical - Strong ability to interpret data to evaluate partnership performance, identify trends, and guide improvements.

    + Program Management - Proficient in coordinating across multiple teams, managing timelines, and executing partnership initiatives from concept to launch.

    The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00-$130,000.00

    Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations , or related field and 2 years’ experience in operations, project management, or related area OR 4 years’ experience in operations, project management, or related area.
