We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Business Analyst/ Technical Product Manager for our OGC Legal Practice Product team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT product management and possess good business analysis and re-engineering skills is a plus. This role requires a professional with excellent collaboration skills, gathering and documenting high level requirements working with business customers, capable of managing the end-to-end lifecycle of IT products, from conception to deployment, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
This position is ideal for the multi-faceted individual who has experience as a Business Analyst, Product Designer and Technical Product Manager, and is interested in working with a portfolio of cutting-edge tools, COTS products, SaaS Custom Vendor products, multiple PDO organizations and business customers. This person will lead a Product Team that develops/supports multiple products. We are looking for a person who will act as both a participative technical leader and a Lead Business Analyst / Technical Product Manager. Work with multiple organizations (Business Customers, PDOs, ITO) to understand business requirements, develop/manage product roadmaps and develop new products per the product backlog. Act as the single point of contact for your products.
+ Roadmap Planning: Develop and maintain a detailed product roadmap, working closely with product owners and end users to ensure alignment with business goals and customer needs.
+ Develop and maintain a comprehensive product backlog: Create user stories, epics, and features, ensuring alignment with the product roadmap and business goals.
+ Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including product owners, software engineers, end users, and customer support, to gather requirements, prioritize features, and ensure successful product delivery.
+ Product Development: Oversee the product development lifecycle, including defining requirements, creating user stories, and working closely with engineering teams to deliver high-quality products on time.
+ UI Workflow Design and Development: Lead the design and development of user interfaces and workflows to ensure intuitive and efficient user experiences.
+ GCP Expertise: Utilize advanced skills in Google Cloud Platform to design, implement, and manage cloud-based solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
+ Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage data analytics and user feedback to make informed decisions about product features, enhancements, and prioritization.
+ Agile Methodology: Implement and promote Agile best practices to ensure efficient and effective product development processes.
+ Performance Monitoring: Establish KPIs and metrics to monitor product performance and drive continuous improvement.
+ Customer Focus: Ensure that customer needs and feedback are at the forefront of product development efforts, enhancing user experience and satisfaction.
+ Overall Product Support: Provide comprehensive support for the product, including post-launch maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
+ As a Product Manager/ Lead Business Analyst, work closely with Business Partners to understand their Product Vision, and break it down into an actionable Backlog of User Stories for the Development team.
+ Experience in designing and implementing data models to support product features and analytics.
+ A track record of driving innovation and delivering cutting-edge solutions in a fast-paced environment.
+ Coordinate communications between the supplier and various interface teams and Ford IT team
+ Identify and manage issues and risks, as well as any mitigation and contingency plans
+ Investigation of defects and suggestions for resolution
+ Final verification of system functional readiness for deployments including cutover planning and execution
+ Support the deployments by working with end users
+ Implement existing program-level standards for design, security and controls, user interface and documentation
+ Capture lessons learned and communicated to team.
+ Facilitate development of business requirements within the domain
+ Conduct Requirements gathering, System Analysis, Gap Analysis, Business process modelling and user Acceptance testing
+ Develop project testing plans and coordinate testing with internal applications
+ Develop impact analysis for projects
+ Interface with Project Leads, Business, and IT analysts to ensure accurate and timely delivery of projects within the domain
+ Develop, execute test scripts
+ Ensure appropriate use of Ford IT processes, tools and methodologies.
+ Works hands-on with the development team to Prioritize, Plan, and Deliver Software that meets Client Requirements.
+ Helps Business Partners understand our Iterative Development approach and focus on delivering a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) through careful and deliberate prioritization.
+ Works with Design Resources (Product Designers internal and/or external) to ensure timely delivery of Designs and Assets of REST APIs to the Development team.
+ Mentors and Train Product Teams to help them learn Agile methods and build skills.
+ Identify potential Success stories and share them with the Communications team.
+ Help Innovate and Iterate on Agile PM processes and share our learnings.
+ Bachelor’s degree or a combination of education and equivalent work experience
+ 10+ years of Product Management experience, with duties including but not limited to:
+ Roadmap planning, stakeholder management, UI workflow design and development
+ Experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
+ Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
+ Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
+ Deep understanding of customer needs and the ability to translate them into actionable product features.
+ Excellent collaboration skills, with a track record of working effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
+ 10+ years as a Lead Business Analyst /Product Manager focused on cloud-based solutions.
+ Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is preferred, but experience with other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is acceptable.
+ 8+ years’ experience building UI/UX workflow design and development.
This is a hybrid work opportunity, and the team is normally onsite 1-2 days/ week in Dearborn, MI.
