    Job Description

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    + Set-up and operate transfer press and injection molding machines.

    + Priming of product as required

    + Verification of quality

    + ERP Transactions necessary to move a product

    + Mold and tooling care

    + Mold and manufacture quality parts

    + Work with the Supervisor to identify and resolve any disciplinary actions

    + Work with Manufacturing Engineering to improve processes and procedures

    Education and Experience:

    + Ability to apply common sense in performing job

    + Ability to understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines

    + Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

    + Ability to use basic high school math skills

    + 1 years Molding Experience or equivalent manufacturing work experience

    + Computer Experience using word processing software/ERP systems

    + Must be able to read and understand blueprints.

    + Must be able to use basic measuring tools (Calipers and Drop Indicators)

    Physical Demands:

    + Able to lift 50lbs. rarely, 20-30lbs. occasionally

    + Able to stand or sit for long periods

    + Good hand dexterity

    + Must be willing to work with chemicals and solvents

    Work Environment:

    Factory environment

    Personal Protective Equipment:

    + Use of safety glasses

    + Use of steel protective shoes or protective shoe covers

    Training Requirements:

    + ERP and Time clock system Overview

    + Teledyne Ethics and Harassment training

    + Hazardous Communications

    + Quality Systems
