Are you known for your attention to detail, superb documentation skills, and the ability to solve complex problems? This may be the position for you! As a Configuration Analyst, you will be at the forefront of product and configuration management, utilizing 3DExperience, Integral CATIA Product Structuring, EBOM creation, and PLM Data Relationships. You will lead the practice in applying industry best practices from CMII, IPx, and EIA-649 standards.
In this critical role, you will be the primary user point of contact for HOW TO navigate through SNC's sophisticated Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system. Our product range is extensive, including advanced mission payloads, electronic systems, highly integrated aircraft, and software platforms.
You lead the SNC Center of Practice to guide your business peers to plan and coordinate the preparation of product structures to ensure compliance with customer requirements, company standards, and industry regulations. This includes ensuring the accuracy and input of Product Data, such as Parts and Bills of Materials (BoMs), and auditing the Configuration Management system's usage and verification of product configuration. Your expertise will be pivotal in maintaining the integrity and compliance of our products, driving operational excellence and innovation.
As SNC's corporate team, we provide the company and its business areas with strategic direction and business support spanning executive management, finance and accounting, operations, human resources, legal, IT, information security, facilities, marketing, and communications.
Responsibilities:
+ Lead the practice in product and configuration management, utilizing 3DExperience, Integral CATIA Product Structuring, EBOM creation, and PLM Data Relationships.
+ Apply industry best practices from CMII, IPx, and EIA-649 standards to ensure robust configuration management and compliance.
+ Manage the configuration of a wide range of products, including advanced mission payloads, electronic systems, highly integrated aircraft, and orbital space exploration systems, through a sophisticated Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system.
+ Plan and coordinate the preparation of product structures to ensure they meet customer requirements, company standards, and industry regulations.
+ Ensure the accuracy and input of Product Data, including Parts and Bills of Materials (BoMs).
+ Audit the Configuration Management system's usage and verify product configuration to maintain system integrity and compliance.
+ Drive operational excellence and innovation through meticulous attention to detail and exceptional problem-solving skills.
Qualifications You Must Have:
+ Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field of study and typically 10 years of relevant experience
+ A higher level degree may substitute for experience
+ Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education
+ Experience working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams
+ Thorough understanding of Documentation Control Database systems
+ Experience using PDM/PLM systems such as Windchill, Enovia 3Dxperience software, and CAD tools such as SOLIDWORKS, Creo, NX, ProEngineer, AutoCAD, CATIA.
+ Skilled in product configuration definition and product structure development
Qualifications We Prefer:
+ Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
+ Background in the Aerospace & Defense Industry
+ Knowledge of industry-standard design principles, to include, but not limited to parametric design, model-based definition, material hardware and or electrical component selection, fabrication, manufacturing, and production processes
+ Understanding of the engineering release and control process for all data associated with system, mechanical, electrical, printed circuit board and/or software products
+ Experience with AS 9100, ISO 9001, EIA-649, MIL-HDBK-61, IEEE 828 and/or CMMI
+ Ability to rapidly work on projects involving both small and large Engineering, Operations, and Program Management teams
+ Ability to generate and maintain Product Structures compliant with all product line items required by various Engineering and Operations groups
+ Certification in Configuration Management disciplines

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $108,496.89 - $149,183.22. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors, such as candidates' key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.
SNC offers annual incentive pay based upon performance that is commensurate with the level of the position.
