Pay Rate:
_The pay rate for this job is $18 - $20 / hour*_
What you'll be doing as a Materials Planner / Scheduler:
+ Plans all purchased parts within responsibility area. Make decisions to release, firm, cancel, or defer work based upon current inventory, demand, and capacity
+ Responsible for maintaining appropriate inventory levels to support production plan
+ Independently identify priorities and proactively work to achieve efficiency in updating purchase orders per supplier updates
+ Offers administrative support
+ Works with Production and Purchasing to stop procurement of material affected by change. Keeps designated engineers informed of ECN implementation status; coordinates proper rotation of inventory to minimize scrap/reworked parts at incorporation time
+ Collects information, complies into standard work, prepares monthly reports and other management reports as requires

Job requirements:
+ Prioritizes multiple requests
+ Maintain hundreds of Part Numbers
+ Assist in monitoring material shortages and possible stock outs
+ Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
+ Keen eye for detail
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office and material management systems
+ Finish tasks to completion
+ Strong organizational and time management skills
+ Knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply chain management
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
+ Offering support to others
+ Background check and drug screening required
