    About the Role:

    As a **Nurse Clinician** on our Bone Marrow Transplant team, you'll be both a **hands-on expert** and a **transformational leader** , advancing nursing practice and promoting excellence in patient care across the continuum. You'll provide direct care, collaborate on evidence-based initiatives, support peers through mentorship, and shape future best practices in oncology nursing.

     

    This role is ideal for a nurse who thrives in complex clinical settings, enjoys leading quality improvements, and is passionate about mentoring others and driving professional growth.

    What You’ll Do:

    + Provide **direct patient care** (50%+), including education, medication administration, and supportive therapies for transplant patients.

    + Lead the development of **clinical guidelines, policies, and quality initiatives** to elevate nursing practice.

    + Act as a **consultant and coach** for nursing staff, supporting clinical development and encouraging professional excellence.

    + Collaborate across departments to ensure safe, effective, and patient-centered care.

    + Partner with Nurse Leaders to bring **evidence-based research** into practice.

    + Use **advanced communication and leadership skills** to build team cohesion and drive systemic improvements.

    + Serve as a role model for **ethical practice** , lifelong learning, and resilience in complex care environments.

    What You Bring:

    Required Qualifications:

    + **Bachelor’s degree in Nursing** or a related field _(Master’s in Nursing required if bachelor’s is not in Nursing)_

    + **Registered Nurse – MN License**

    + **2+ years of nursing experience**

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + **Master’s or Doctorate in Nursing or related field**

    + **3+ years of nursing experience** , preferably in oncology or transplant care

    + **Certification** in a nursing specialty area (e.g., OCN, BMTCN)
