We’re looking for a dynamic- **Production Supervisor** -to lead our production team in Houston, TX. If you thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, excel at fostering a culture of collaboration, and want to make a real impact, this opportunity is for you.
As a- **Production Supervisor** , you’ll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency on the production floor. You’ll:
+ **Lead with purpose** : Supervise and support a team of hourly production employees, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
+ **Drive safety and compliance** : Champion safety protocols, environmental policies, and company guidelines. Host safety meetings, investigate incidents, and promote best practices.
+ **Develop your team** : Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities to enhance employee performance. Create clear expectations and hold team members accountable.
+ **Optimize operations** : Monitor productivity, implement lean manufacturing principles (5S, Six Sigma, TPM), and perform root-cause analyses to address operational challenges.
+ **Own it** : Oversee timekeeping, payroll reviews, and ensure compliance with all site pay policies.
This is a role for experienced leaders who are ready to make a difference. To qualify, you- **must meet the following requirements** :
+ **Education** : Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field ( _or 5+ years of manufacturing experience_ ).
+ **Supervisory Experience** : 3-5 years in a manufacturing environment is- **strongly preferred** .
+ **Language Proficiency** : Bilingual in Spanish and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
+ **Technical Knowledge** : Familiarity with ISO standards (9001, 14001, & OHSAS 18001) is required. A solid understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles (TPM, 5S, Six Sigma) is highly preferred.
+ **Technology Skills** : Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, and experience with- **UKG** -and- **SAP systems** is a plus.
+ **Problem-Solving** : Strong analytical skills to evaluate results and implement effective solutions.
