Primary Objective:
Coordinating and maintaining support for the maintenance department to include:
+ Training and documentation
+ Team PPE and tool management
+ Safe Permit tracking and filing.
Pay: $25.50/hr paid weekly
Shift: M-F, 8am - 5pm
Nature and Scope of Position:
+ Keep records on all maintenance related safety training up to date. To include, developing a matrix of all training, tracking annual completion dates, scheduling necessary training with Safety Trainer, Updating and storing employee training records. Build out a revolving Maintenance Training Calendar
+ Oversee all Maintenance PPE to include, developing a matrix of all assigned PPE. Creating an inspection and tracking process to help keep team accountable to have all required PPE available in good working order. Track PPE at exit of a technician to reassign to new hire.
+ Oversee Maintenance Permitting Process to include keeping permits available and up to date. After leadership sign off, storing and tracking information.
+ Tracking and management of all personal tools for the dept. Keeping signed documents of assigned tools and boxes for the team. Begin a replacement program.
+ Work with the Reliability Engineer in developing/reporting KPIs.
+ Tracking and management of all shared tools
+ Facilitate the collection and upload of supporting documents to the CMMS.
+ Assist in the development of training content within the maintenance department.
Essential Job Functions:
+ Strong communication and organizational skills
+ Self motivated to help organize and drive the department.
+ Provide assistance to leadership to help drive needs for the team
+ Requesting, knowledge and whereabouts of all materials needed for project work.
+ Assist in the Maintenance Supervisor with the maintenance department 5S program.
+ Conduct required SMAT Audits in accordance with plant goals and objectives.
+ Assists with storeroom duties, shipping & receiving, hand tool distribution, and entering purchase requests.
+ Being open to new assignments as changes occur within the department
+ Assists in maintaining SAP (all inputs and outputs – purchasing, tasking, work orders, history, etc.)
+ Assists in other administrative duties as needed.
