    **Koniag Technology Solutions,** a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Technical Writer with a Top-Secret clearance to support **KTS** and our government customer in Washington, DC. _This position is for a Future New Business Opportunity._

    Koniag Technology Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Technical Writer in Washington, DC to act as primary contact between our office and the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI). The Technical Writer will have essential multi-discipline team representation and be self-motivated, well organized, design oriented, and customer focused.

    Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:

    + Develop and maintain technical documentation for system tradecraft methodologies to include operations documentation, user guides, technical publications, briefings, reports, and training materials.

    + Interpret engineering, maintenance drawings, and operational procedures to understand and blend large quantities of system-related information.

    + Work on all phases of technical documentation to ensure products are accurate, complete, consistent, meet editorial and government specifications, contain appropriate security classification markings, and adhere to standards for quality, graphics, format, and style.

    + Coordinate with technical personnel and subject matter experts to document key elements of operational functionality, including overviews, processes/workflows, requirements, etc. to ensure delivery of quality documentation and training materials.

    + Review and edit documents for grammar, format, and clarity prior to program management approval.

    + Review and edit procedures related to standard IT workflows.

    + Aid in the development of accreditation documentation, if required.

    + Maintain and suggest improvements to the current internal documentation library.

    + Maintain the program’s document tracking spreadsheet on status of contract deliverables.

    Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

    + Top Secret Security Clearance5 years of relevant experience

    + Possess excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills

    + Experience with Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

    + Experience using Microsoft SharePoint

    + Ability to work predominately on the customer site during a 40-hour work week
