Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Operations/Events Manager** to join our team! In this role you will serve under an Army Deputy Chief of Staff working with Army leaders to ensure understanding of the current and future battlefield for the US Army and other consumers at Fort Leavenworth, KS.
What You'll Be Doing:
+ Responsible for managing conferences, daily briefings, and coordination with Army leadership on the current OE and battlefield to include recommendations on the future force.
+ Assist with conferences and planning with US Army Commanders and staffs on understanding the current and future OE.
+ Identify gaps in learning and provide lessons learned, best practices, and current tactics, techniques & procedures for Commanders and their staffs.
+ Understand US Army functioning DOTMLPF-P and JPAS process
+ Understand Measures of Performance (MOPs) and Measures of Effectiveness (MOEs) in order to inform Army leadership on issues surrounding major exercises and training
+ Define the scope and context of the OE for senior leaders
+ Working with intelligence analysts, describe these future threat strategies, doctrine, and capabilities
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
+ Active TS/SCI security clearance
+ Bachelor’s degree or higher
+ Former Military or Civil Service with 5+ years’ experience
+ Experience in delivering and supporting professional military education
+ Excellent written and oral communications skills.
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
+ Previous experience working at the flag officer and senior leader level in discussions in support of HHQ commands and other Government agencies when required.
+ Understanding how to coalesce Red Team, Foreign Military Studies (FMS), and DOTMLPF-P into an understanding for US Army leaders to organize and plan for operations
+ In coordination with the Operations Environment Enterprise and the IC, understand how to define the battlefield and threats to U.S. national interests.
Security Clearance Requirement:
An active Top Secret SCI security clearance is required for this position.
