    FTE: Full Time, 1.0, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

     

    Shift: Days

     

    Pay: $57.56 - $92.10 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience

    Summary:

    Directs the program's activities and resources to ensure alignment with the mission, values, and strategic objectives of the program and organization.

    Responsibilities:

    Partners with medical and organizational leaders to develop and implement a strategic plan, departmental goals, and standards consistent with the clinical, administrative, regulatory, legal, and ethical standards of the organization.

     

    Directs and evaluates departmental operations, including staffing, development, engagement, patient care delivery, information technologies, regulatory compliance, quality and experience to achieve growth in performance goals.

     

    Proficient understanding of regulatory requirements, system development and political implications while maintaining collaborative relationships with local, state, regional, and national stakeholders.

     

    Prepares and evaluates departmental budgets and financial performance to promote stewardship and growth.

     

    Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action.

    Requirements:

    + Registered Nurse

    + Bachelor's degree in Nursing.

    + 5 years of relevant acute care nursing experience.

    + Preferred: 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience.

    + State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).

    + Preferred: Master's degree in Nursing, Business or healthcare related field.

    + Preferred:

    + Minimum 5 years trauma experience at a Level I or Level II trauma center

    + Minimum 3 years in a trauma program leadership role (e.g., Trauma Director or Program Manager).

    • Demonstrated knowledge of ACS trauma verification standards and state trauma regulations.

    • Proven leadership, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.

    • Experience with trauma registry data, quality improvement, and performance benchmarking.
