Job Description:
The Clinical Operations Senior Manager provides leadership and oversight of patient care activities for air Med Transport in all geographies in which it operates. This position works with the interdisciplinary team and community stakeholders to ensure optimal patient care and attainment of Intermountain Transport Medical organizational goals. This leader collaborates with leadership to promote best practices in all aspects of Med Transport clinical operations.
Essential Functions
+ Manages clinical operations for air Med Transport. Ensures the provision of clinical care, collaborative problem solving and strategic planning, ensuring compliance with industry and Intermountain clinical standards, and best practices.
+ Responsible for clinical operations performance and compliance with patient safety initiatives, federal, state and other regulatory bodies such as the Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Services (CAMTS), the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), OSHA, CMS, DOPL, and other department specific accrediting and certifying bodies. Ensures achievement of program and clinical goals and implements action plans to improve performance as needed.
+ Allocates available resources and provides budgetary oversight, to promote efficient, effective, and safe patient care based on current standards of practice and in alignment with organizational financial goals.
+ Oversees the engagement, staffing, recruitment, training, and performance management of all staff, including nurses, paramedics, and other healthcare professionals. Mentors caregivers and provides professional educational opportunities.
+ Acts as a role model through the demonstration of personal professional development, continuous learning, and competency improvement. Participates in and contributes to educational offerings and visibility in professional organizations.

Minimum Qualifications
+ Relevant clinical licensure or certification
+ Demonstrated critical care transport experience
+ Working knowledge of critical care best practices and industry standards
+ Ability to travel long distances to various med transport locations
+ Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
Preferred Qualifications
+ Registered Nurse, National Registry Paramedic or Respiratory Therapist
+ Bachelor’s degree or in nursing, healthcare-related field.
+ Experience with relevant critical care population based on portfolio (Adult critical care, Pediatric Critical care, HROB, etc.)
+ 3 years critical care transport experience
+ Demonstrated experience managing multidisciplinary teams

+ Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, documents, monitors, identify equipment and supplies, and be able to assess customer needs.
+ Frequent interactions with providers, colleagues, customers, patients/clients, and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, needs, and issues quickly and accurately.
+ Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes frequent computer use for typing, accessing needed information, etc.
+ May have the same physical requirements as those of clinical or patient care jobs, when the leader takes clinical shifts.
+ For roles requiring driving: Expected to drive a vehicle which requires sitting, seeing and reading signs, traffic signals, and other vehicles.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
$50.22 - $77.53
