+ Provide technical leadership on Effector Function Testing for Biologics
+ Perform cell-based assays to support preclinical development of the molecules
+ Identifying and helping troubleshoot issues
+ Responsible for timely delivery & documentation of assay data and providing support for study reports
Other expertise desired for the role are:
+ Biology experience including, but not limited to, the following: mammalian cell culture techniques and cell-based assay development
+ ELISAs and luciferase reporter assays
+ Flow cytometry
+ Capable of balancing multiple tasks at once while delivering the highest standard of quality data.
+ Having SPR expertise is a plus
Additional Preferences:
+ Experience:
+ Transient and/or stable cell line generation
+ Experience with automation of cell-based assays on Hamilton or other Liquid handlers.
+ Characterizing protein structure and function using various biochemical/biophysical approaches such as SPR
+ Characterizing protein: protein interactions
+ Microsoft Office software (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
+ Graphing data in GraphPad Prism
+ Strong interpersonal skills; able to foster an environment for learning and open/honest communication
+ Ability to identify and implement operational and organizational improvements
+ Analytical/Problem-Solving skills

+ Coach, train, and develop others within the group with respect to their personal development and effective implementation of operational improvements
+ Foster motivation and morale
+ Coordinate workflow and perform daily monitoring to meet TAT
+ Prepare and review job plans, conduct semiannual performance reviews, interview applicants, keep training records up to date for assigned employees, perform succession planning in preparation for growth
+ Laboratory maintenance (e.g. cleaning and sanitizing of laboratory)
+ Demonstrates strong client service skills, teamwork, and collaboration
+ Proactively plans and multitasks to maximize productivity
+ Ensure that the quality policy program is understood, implemented, and maintained at all levels of the organization; identify, prevent, or correct any departures from the quality system
+ Develop and implement operational improvements
+ Monitor and approve employees’ time worked through time-entry system
+ Support and promote company policies and procedures
+ Strong computer and organizational skills and experience with Excel and QualityDocs (controlled content management platform)
+ Ability to learn, prioritize multiple tasks, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team with internal and external clients, self‑motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
+ Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or other related degree concentration, or equivalent directly-related experience (two years of directly related industry experience is equivalent to one full-time year of college in related major)
+ Leadership experience
+ 4+ years related lab experience
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience interacting with people from a wide range of skill levels and experience
+ Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
+ Demonstrated ability to work as an independent, self-motivated, detail-oriented, result-driven and highly flexible team-player in a fast-paced working environment
+ Strong focus on quality, teamwork, and productivity
