Performing basic laboratory testing; preparing media; maintaining equipment; entering data with a basic understanding into theory

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

+ Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate

+ Demonstrates and promotes the company vision

+ Regular attendance and punctuality

+ Perform basic laboratory techniques/analyses or prepare media, based on job function

+ Enter data into computer system

+ Maintain/calibrate equipment

+ Prepare and wash glassware

+ Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner

+ Run autoclave and other equipment

+ Receipt of consumables and lab stocking

+ Clean incubator chambers

+ Performs other duties as assigned

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements below are representative of the knowledge, skill or ability required.

+ High school diploma or equivalent

+ Some college science courses

+ At least one year experience in bio/pharmaceutical laboratory

+ Attention to detail

+ able to do repetitive work

+ read/follow written instructions

+ organize/prioritize workload

+ work with others

+ perform multiple tasks simultaneously

+ organized and logical thinking (i.e., intuitiveness, deductive reasoning)

+ flexibility

+ function under medium stress level

Position is full-time, working 8:00 AM-4:00 PM Monday-Friday, some weekends and required overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within commutable distance to Lancaster, PA are encouraged to apply.
