IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL:

+ **Collaborate with agile development teams** and other stakeholders to deliver products and features that **deliver value** to both our customers and our business

+ Participate in **design workshops** to ideate on solutions that will create intuitive user experiences and **eliminate customer difficulties**

+ Work with agile development teams to **create product designs** including creating personas, user flows, storyboards, wireframes, mockups, and other design artifacts as needed

+ Follow the Emerson **design standards** to provide design consistency across our product portfolio and help maintain those design standards as needed

+ **Actively seek feedback** from end users about product designs and use that feedback to improve the designs

**WHO YOU ARE:** You partner with others to get work done. You adjust communication to fit the audience and the message. You deal comfortably with the uncertainty of change. You readily learn and adopt new technologies. You are willing to work a full-time hybrid schedule requiring in-office in our Eden Prairie location 4 days a week.

FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:

+ Bachelor’s degree in User Experience Design, Human Factors, Graphics Design, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

+ 2+ years of related experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS THAT SET YOU APART:

+ A design portfolio demonstrating command of a holistic design process and the ability to create design artifacts because of that process

+ Experience with agile development methodologies

+ Familiarity with Figma or similar UI design tools

+ Mobile application experience preferred

+ 5 years of experience

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. The salary range for this role is $** **95,000 – $130,000 annually,** **commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.​
