Join Our Mission-Driven Team as a Physical Therapy Assistant at CHI Health

Are you passionate about helping others regain mobility and improve their quality of life? CHI Health is seeking a **dedicated and compassionate PRN Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)** to join our dynamic team. In this role, you’ll work closely under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to provide hands-on care that supports recovery, function, and well-being.

What You’ll Do

+ Assist in implementing care plans and treatments designed by a licensed physical therapist.

+ Work directly with patients to improve strength, mobility, and independence.

+ Contribute to a collaborative care team focused on achieving measurable goals.

+ Ensure compliance with all documentation, billing, and regulatory requirements.

+ Supervise physical therapy techs in accordance with applicable guidelines.

+ Stay informed and educated on the latest best practices in physical therapy.

+ Participate in program quality improvement initiatives and student mentorship (as assigned).

+ Maintain all mandatory education and certifications related to safety, quality, and infection control.

What You Bring

+ **Education:** Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.

+ **Licensure:** Active PTA license in Nebraska, Iowa, or through the PT Compact.

+ **Certifications:** Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required at the time of hire.

+ **Skills:** Excellent verbal and written communication, professionalism, organization, and a strong focus on patient safety and evidence-based practice.

+ **Preferred:** Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting is a plus.
