POSITION DETAILS
Brooklyn College invites applications for an Undergraduate Recruitment Coordinator in the Office of Undergraduate Recruitment. Reporting to the Director of Undergraduate Recruitment, the Recruitment Coordinator performs recruiting and advising to ensure and facilitate communication to prospective and admitted freshmen, transfer and non-degree students.
In addition to the CUNY Title Overview, duties include but are not limited to the following:
+ Performs recruitment and advising activities for prospective undergraduate, transfer and non-degree students.
+ Coordinate the communication plan and workflow for prospective and admitted students, as well as stakeholders, including high school counselors, other colleges and community-based organizations.
+ Work with Director and Associate Director to review and implement business practices and workflows to improve department processes.
+ Generate reports and perform basic analysis.
+ Supervise and train part-time staff.
+ Serve as a liaison for the department to various stakeholders.
+ Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree required.
PREFERED QUALIFICATIONS
+ Experience with CUNYFirst and Connect or Slate (CRMs)
+ Experience with Microsoft Suite
+ Experience working with NYC High School Students and Counselors
CUNY TITLE OVERVIEW
Coordinates efforts of admissions and/or enrollment offices.
- Coordinates workshops, intake screenings, interviews and orientations for new students
- Counsels prospective applicants on requirements and standards and provides general information on programs and services in person or by telephone, e-mail or letter; conducts follow up as needed
- Assists in conducting open house sessions and orientations, including group sessions and programs at high schools and in the community at large
- Assists with day-to-day administration and an admissions or enrollment office, including scheduling and preparing and distributing materials
- Represents the Admission Office to the college's internal and external communities as directed
- Maintains and updates program databases, lists and files to ensure completeness and accuracy
- Performs related duties as assigned.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
$44,411 - $47,861; Salary commensurate with education and experience.
