Description:
Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic is seeking an experienced Director to join the team in our Human Resources department!
The Director, HRBP will provide oversight of Nazareth Hospital in Northeast Philadelphia and St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, PA.
**Schedule:** Full-time, On-Site / Monday - Friday
The HRBP serves in a leadership role providing strategic direction, vision, and guidance in the integration of the Human Resource strategies, operations and services in order to advance and align strategy and structure with talent to achieve organizational goals. Serves as a member of the HR structure in achieving implementation of an HR service delivery model which is responsive to and supportive of organization and business needs, goals and objectives, while embracing the mission and core values of Trinity Health. May serve executives and executive teams at a ministry, regional, system and national level depending on assignment. Leads and coordinates as a member of the Human Resource ministry or system team, which includes client support for the ministries and business functions in that HR region/location. Partners with regional (field) based Center of Expertise (COE) services – Talent Acquisition, Organizational Effectiveness, Colleague Labor Relations and Safety and Total Rewards.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
+ Knows, understands, incorporates, and demonstrates the Trinity Health Mission, Vision, and Values in behaviors, practices, and decisions.
+ Serves as a key trusted advisor in providing collaborative partnerships with the operation and business functional leaders in order to understand business needs and strategic approaches in order to ensure alignment with Human Resource system service strategy. Provides guidance on leadership development, performance management, talent management, organization alignment, culture and colleague engagement.
+ Collaborates with leaders in understanding and shaping business system requirements and translating such into specific Human Resource actions and initiatives. Ensures strategic alignment of Human Resource actions, programs, initiatives and services with system, regional and ministry needs.
+ Collaborates with system Centers of Expertise (COEs) in leading strategy and approach for complex transitions including organization design, change management, and MD&A transitions. Supports the Regional CHRO - Human Resource Ministry Service Area (HRMSA) in transforming operations and initiatives, and advancing performance excellence, while achieving strategy and structure alignment of programs, processes and services across the system.
+ Supports the Human Resource regional (field) structure, which includes client support for the ministries and business functions in the Human Resource HRMSA in order to ensure a single system perspective is taken on Human Resource related matters throughout Trinity Health. Implements the aligned Human Resource strategy, programs, operations and services ensuring alignment of strategy and structure with system. Obtains guidance from Regional CHRO - Human Resource Ministry Service Area (HRMSA) in implementing the Trinity Health vision for Human Resources at the ministry or system level.
+ Partners with Centers of Expertise (COEs) resources: Talent Acquisition, Organizational Effectiveness and Colleague Labor Relations and Safety, and Total Rewards, which includes programs, protocols, providing problem resolution, reporting, negotiating, consulting, implementing initiatives, and supporting general HR services.
+ Partners with Regional CHRO - Human Resource Ministry Service Area (HRMSA) on national, regional, or ministry level process improvement and change management efforts ensuring alignment with system strategy and approach. Supports the implementation of performance management processes and ensures alignment with organizational goals and strategies. Serves as a technical resource, providing advice and guidance to regional leaders on the effective application of performance assessment methods and approaches.
+ Partners with Regional CHRO - Human Resource Ministry Service Area (HRMSA) on ministry, regional, system or national effective management programs and communication of all Human Resource programs and initiatives ensuring alignment with system-wide strategy and approach. Supports the delivery and effectiveness of training services for all Human Resource programs and initiatives.
+ Consults and collaborates with Regional CHRO - Human Resource Ministry Service Area (HRMSA) and Centers of Expertise (COEs) to implement needed Human Resource solutions and supports programs to address identified organizational needs, gaps, and weaknesses. Ensures appropriate Human Resource information is provided to business leaders which will support the successful alignment of Human Resource operations, programs and services across the system.
+ Accountable for developing, fostering and maintaining an effective Human Resource relationship with assigned business leaders. Collaborates with Regional CHRO - Human Resource Ministry Service Area (HRMSA), Centers of Expertise (COEs) and regional business leaders to facilitate achieving business needs and objectives.
+ Partners with Regional CHRO - Human Resource Ministry Service Area (HRMSA) and Center of Expertise (COEs) in the delivery of organization effectiveness services. Mentors and coaches leaders by providing performance assessment, coaching, guidance and feedback on professional development and quality performance.
+ Determines appropriate measures/metrics needed to provide on-going assessment of change management and process/performance improvement in determining effectiveness on overall business impact. Analyzes and presents workforce measures/metrics to regional business leaders for use in resolving issues and driving business decisions. Accountable for driving performance to agreed upon metrics.
Minimum Qualifications:
+ Must possess thorough knowledge and demonstrated expertise Human Resources, change management, process improvement as normally acquired through the completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Organizational Development, or related field and a minimum of seven (7) or more years' progressively responsible experience in Human Resource Management. Advanced degree (MBA or MA) in Human Resources, Business Administration or Industrial Psychology preferred. Knowledge of and experience in health care/faith-based health care preferred.
+ Demonstrated experience as a business partner aligning Human Resource and business strategies with organizational capabilities.
+ Minimum of seven (7) or more years' managing and/or collaborating with various Human Resource functional areas or Centers of Expertise (COE).
+ Exceptional oral and written communication, persuasion and negotiation skills in order to effectively identify and present services, assess organizational development opportunities, facilitate improvements, and present advisory, persuasive and authoritative recommendations to all levels of management.
+ Exceptional interpersonal, consultative and relationship building skills in order to develop and utilize productive collaborative partnerships with leaders across the organization. Extremely high level of diplomacy and tact are required. Ability to read the subtle nuances of situation and react/plan accordingly.
