+ Part-time
+ 30 hours / week
+ Hours: 7a-5:30p
+ Weekends, Holidays, and on-call per CBA
What the Cardiovascular Tech II will do:
+ Operates radiological and hemodynamic equipment in Cardiac Cath Lab during procedures.
+ Performs measurements and calculations for hemodynamic monitoring.
+ Assists physician as scrub technician
+ Maintains digital archive system.
+ Monitors fluoroscopy exposure to assure safety levels are not exceeded.
+ Participates in quality improvement programs concerning radiology and hemodynamic monitoring.
+ Completes data collection tools and analyzes data to make recommendations for improvement.
+ Orders supplies when needed in conjunction with standards to minimize waste and unnecessary expenses.
+ Assists with lab set up and tear down by setting up room and equipment for procedures. Cleans room after procedures are completed and per schedule.
What the Cardiovascular Tech II will need:
+ A graduate of an American Registry of Radiological Technologist Program (ARRT), or a Cardiovascular Institute Graduate.
+ ACLS Certification will be mandatory within 90 days and provided by the hospital education.
+ RCIS and/or RCES Certification mandatory or ARRT certified.
+ Preferred: Radiology Tech/Cardiovascular Invasive Technologist, Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist.
+ Preferred: One (1) year previous cardiac Cath lab experience and/or one (1) year experience in special procedures angiography.
+ Preferred: EHR experience with Epic, McKesson Hemodynamics
