Summary:

Responsible for performing general clerical and communication duties of an assigned unit. Cross trained as a monitor tech who is responsible for identifying normal rhythms/dysrhythmias and lethal arrhythmias, reporting these findings to the appropriate personnel and labeling and mounting rhythm strips.

Required certification and licensure includes HUC (Health Unit Coordinator). Required skills includes performing, interpreting and understanding EKG tests.
