Job Description:

Provide college-wide leadership and direction for Hennepin Technical College’s Customized Training Services Programs. Supervise the faculty and staff within these program areas.

+ Provide the leadership and direction necessary to ensure the delivery of high-quality Customized Training programs for the College’s business and industry clients.

+ Partner with business, industry, economic development agencies, and other higher education institutions to provide high quality, responsive training programs for the Minnesota incumbent workforce.

+ Utilize labor market data and industry trends to inform program development and align training with current and emerging workforce needs.

+ Create transition pathways for non-credit students to credit.

Salary Range:

$93,713-$149,940

Minimum Qualifications:

+ Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution

+ 3 years of experience managing professional-level personnel

+ Demonstrated experience developing community partnerships

+ Demonstrated track history of outside sales growth

+ Demonstrated experience with strategic planning and goal setting

+ Demonstrated experience leading and implementing successful continuous improvement initiatives

+ Sales management experience

+ Experience establishing a hiring pipeline of faculty

+ Demonstrated budget management experience

+ Experience with developing and managing grants

+ Knowledge of the state/federal workforce development system and related programs

+ Demonstrated experience in communicating expectations, assignments, and responsibilities clearly and professionally

Preferred Qualification:

+ Master's degree from an accredited institution

+ 5 years of experience managing professional-level personnel

+ Proven ability to provide strategic oversight of marketing initiatives

+ Experience with the development of traditional and non-traditional career pathways that reflect local workforce needs and align with educational pathways

+ Experience with grant writing and/or management experience

+ Experience with administering union contracts
