POSITION SUMMARY:
As the Manager of Strategic Planning for the Professional Health Business Unit, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our strategic vision and driving impactful growth initiatives. Collaborating closely with the Leadership Team and cross-functional partners, you will spearhead efforts to enhance profitability, ignite innovation, and streamline operations. Your ability to transform complex business performance data into compelling narratives will be crucial for informing senior leadership decisions. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical capabilities and a proven ability to translate data insights into actionable strategies that drive business outcomes.
This position will be either a remote or hybrid role based on the selected candidate’s geographic location. Preference will be given to applicants who live within a commutable distance of Bridgewater, New Jersey/Tri-State area, Chicago, Illinois, Palm Beach Gardens, Florida and/or within the Long Island, New York areas.
RESPONSIBILIITES:
Strategic Planning & Execution:
+ Collaborate with the Professional Health Business Unit President, Leadership Team, and functional business partners to support the execution of the strategic vision, goals, and success metrics for the Professional Health BU
+ Lead the development and execution of the Professional Health BU strategy to optimize impact and eliminate redundancy
+ Facilitate the identification and implementation of strategic initiatives to drive growth, foster innovation, and enhance operational efficiency
+ Develop and monitor core financial and non-financial KPIs to enhance transparency and insights, enabling data-driven decision-making
+ Create and support the execution of action plans to capitalize on successful initiatives and course-correct when necessary
+ Oversee the translation of business performance indicators into cohesive storylines for QBRs and other leadership meetings
+ Ensure alignment of business strategies with the Global Business Strategy (GBS) through coordination with the Global NHSc team
Business Development:
+ Act as a point of contact for M&A and business development decisions, supporting necessary actions within the business unit
+ Collaborate with Finance and Commercial teams to develop business case financial statements for deal valuation and approval
+ Identify and implement processes to maximize synergies and improve organizational and financial effectiveness for newly integrated businesses
+ Ensure alignment of portfolio brand life cycle management with the Global Business Strategy (GBS) and M&A approach
Operational Management:
+ Facilitate support for the Professional Health BU leadership team by overseeing key initiatives, ensuring adherence to project timelines, and maintaining compliance with deliverables
+ Enhance leadership team meetings and efficiencies across the Atrium + Medical Nutrition & Pharma portfolio, ensuring alignment with goals and deliverables
+ Oversee and ensure cohesion of project materials in collaboration with cross-functional partners for global deliverables, including QBRs, Monthly Business Reviews, and Market Business Strategy (MBS)
Leadership & Collaboration:
+ Develop strong partnerships with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with strategic priorities
+ Leverage strong influencing skills to drive alignment and commitment across various stakeholders, ensuring that strategic priorities are met
+ Utilize storytelling expertise to create compelling presentations and coordinate information for leadership presentations and other critical workstreams
**REQUIREMENTS** :
+ Bachelor's degree in a related discipline is required; an MBA or master’s degree is a plus
+ Minimum of 5 years of experience managing complex, cross-functional projects involving multiple stakeholders
+ Proven expertise in data-driven decision making, strategic planning, and financial analysis
+ Proven ability to apply digital tools and platforms (e.g. MS Office suite, data visualization, automation, AI-enhanced planning) to develop and execute strategic initiatives across complex stakeholder environments
+ Preferred commercial experience in pharmaceutical, medical nutrition, or healthcare industries
+ Preferred experience in project management and data analytics
+ Travel: up to 25%

+ Demonstrated success in engaging and influencing senior leaders and key stakeholders across the organization to drive alignment and decision making
+ Exceptional collaboration, leadership, and influence capabilities, honed through strategic leadership roles
+ Proven storytelling and presentation design capability, with a portfolio of successful strategic presentations
+ Focused and assertive; unafraid to debate, decide, and deliver, with a history of impactful decision-making
+ Demonstrates a high degree of trust and reliability, underpinned by consistent and reliable performance in strategic roles
The approximate pay range for this position is $125,000- $160,000 base. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
