While this role is primarily IT-oriented, candidates with backgrounds in nursing or payroll are encouraged to apply.     This remote position offers flexibility with Monday to Friday business hours. Familiarity with Kronos, MS Office, and understanding of Kronos integration with PeopleSoft are key requirements.

    The system Payroll department is responsible for ensuring timely, accurate payment to employees for work performed in their respective positions. The department ensures appropriate practices and policies are in place to drive accuracy and compliance.

    Role Purpose

     

    Responsible for delivering business automation improvements and maximizing the benefits of an automated scheduling, time and attendance, and labor productivity software package. This include providing expertise on complex system applications and leading project teams, data and building complex reports and presentation materials, facilitating or leading cross-functional teams through projects and/or issues to achieve desired results. Uses significant knowledge of cross-functional departments to analyze work processes and identify opportunities for improvements in work and staffing practices and procedures. Designs, implements and supports the adoption of new processes to increase efficiency while maximizing results. Elicits and shares best practices across nursing and support services departments. Responsible for system administration, implementation, upgrades, and training.

    Responsibilities

    + Facilitates cross-functional teams and/or leads projects with enterprise-wide scope to implement process improvements in the areas of scheduling and labor productivity and promotes standardization of processes while ensuring adherence to BJC policies.

    + Monitors and measures the quantitative improvements achieved through the project(s) to support realization of benefits at the system and/or facility level. This includes data integrity, process improvement outcome analysis, issues tracking and resolution.

    + Acts as a technical and procedural knowledge expert for BJC management to identify, quantify, document and replicate best practices across the facility and/or system. Performs analysis of multiple complex data sources in order to manage and support the business need and technical issues for new functional development and assure effective solutions.

    + Maintains optimal operation of scheduling and labor productivity applications in partnership with IT or external software vendor. Serves as a liaison and expert resource for application functional configuration between internal and external resources. This includes problem resolution for system or business issues and collaborating with the vendor in design and development of future releases that will better meet BJC's needs.

    + Leads/coordinates technical implementations, upgrades, functional design, and system administration. Identifies training and support needs, assesses tools and creates materials to effectively support processes. Develops training materials, coordinates and delivers formal and informal training.
