Description
The Senior Production Supervisor provides strategic oversight of daily production operations, ensuring alignment with safety, quality, delivery, and cost while driving operational excellence. This role leads and mentors Production Supervisors and teams or complex production lines, supports cross-functional collaboration with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain, and champions continuous improvement initiatives. The position will be based at Knowles Valencia CA Site.
Key Responsibilities
+ Plays a key role in workforce planning, employee development, and succession readiness.
+ Enforces strict compliance with production processes, company policies and regulatory compliance.
+ Cultivates a high-performance, engaged team culture focuses on accountability and innovation.
+ Leads and coordinates daily production operations across multiple teams and shifts, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets are consistently achieved.
+ Drives continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma or similar methodologies to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and optimize processes.
+ Partner cross-functionally with engineering, quality, maintenance and supply chaing to resolve production issues and support process changes.
+ Mentor and develop frontline supervisors and team members, supporting performance management, training and sucession planning initiatives.
+ Ensures compliance with company policies, EHS regulations, and industry standards through regular audits, corrective actions, and safety leadership.
+ Uses data to control and improve production processes, reduce waste, and improve throughput.
+ Supports root cause analysis and corrective action plans for production issues.
+ Tracks progress toward department KPIs and enterprise goals using Visual Management tools (KPI boards, Tier meetings).
+ Establish SMART objectives linked to plant and strategic goals and follow through on execution.
+ Other duties as needed.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
+ BS degree in Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or other related discipline, preferred.
+ Generally 4+ years progressive experience in Manufacturing, Process Engineering, Supply Chain Management or Operations.
+ Experience managing multiple direct reports.
+ Experience with ERP systems required. Experience with Oracle preferred.
+ Strong working knowledge of MS Suite including Microsoft Excel.
+ Detail oriented and thorough.
+ Demonstrated ability to facilitate and influence cross-functionally.
+ Excellent written and oral communication skills.
+ Bilingual in Spanish a plus.

Knowles is committed to providing a competitive and fair total compensation package for all employees.
One element in our total compensation package is base pay. The starting salary for this role is targeted to be between $80,000 and $90,000 per year.
Individual compensation decisions are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to previous experience and skills acquired prior to joining Knowles, cost of living in the assigned work location, assigned schedule, and salaries of similarly situated peers at the company.
