    Job Description

    The Sr. Quality Manager will manage and direct the Quality department consisting of salaried Quality Engineers, Team Leader, and Quality Technicians for our EDITRON Team in Longmont.

    Job Responsibilities

    + Manage and direct the Quality department consisting of salaried Quality Engineers, Team Leader, and Quality Technicians;

    + Ensure that the Quality team has the correct competencies;

    + Ensure compliance to ISO/TS 16949 within agreed upon scope of certification;

    + Ensure that local management system is compliant to agreed customer requirements;

    + Drive the Continuous Improvement Process related to Quality.

     

    Background & Skills

    Minimum Requirements:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering plus 5 years experience in Quality Management in a manufacturing environment (including 3 years within the automotive industry.

    + In lieu of bachelor’s degree plus 5 years experience, at least one year undergraduate study in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering and 8 years experiencein Quality Management in a manufacturing environment(including 3 years within the automotive industry).

    + 3 years experience as a Tier 1 or 2 supplier to an automotive OEM customer.

    + Six-Sigma Green belt certified.

    + IATF 16949 Internal and/or Lead auditor.
