Fairfield Inn & Suites – Austin San Marcos is seeking an experienced, guest-focused Front Desk Manager to lead our front office team and ensure exceptional service is delivered at every guest interaction. This position plays a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and driving guest satisfaction, while also managing the daily operations of the front desk with efficiency and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Supervise and support all front desk staff, including scheduling, training, coaching, and performance management.
+ Ensure a smooth and efficient check-in/check-out process for guests.
+ Resolve guest concerns promptly, professionally, and effectively.
+ Maintain a high standard of customer service in line with Marriott brand expectations.
+ Monitor room availability, rate strategies, and assist in maximizing occupancy and revenue.
+ Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
+ Manage the front desk's financial operations, including handling cash, billing, and reporting.
+ Ensure compliance with hotel policies, safety standards, and Marriott procedures.
+ Lead by example in upholding a positive and professional work environment.
Qualifications:
+ High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in hospitality or related field preferred.
+ Minimum 2–3 years of hotel front desk experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or managerial role.
+ Familiarity with Marriott systems (e.g., MARSHA, FOSSE, LightSpeed) is highly preferred.
+ Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
+ Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office and hotel property management systems.
+ A genuine passion for guest service and hospitality excellence.
